Max Biaggi to Aprilia WSB

Max has signed a two year deal with Aprilia in WSB to ride the new RSV4 it seems....

That's a gorgeous bike, lovely and slim.

I read this today too. I heard he thought he was in the running for the soon to be up for grabs Xerox Ducati seat. I have also read that seat looks like it will be going to Haga.

The 1098 is a very nice bike.

The new RSV is a very nice bike.


Maybe Mr Biaggi can under-achieve on that too.

Nice bike. It will be interesting to see how well the new arrivals in the paddock do initially. They obviously both have excellent riders aboard, but my money's on BMW out-performing Aprilia.
I also would have liked to see Gibernau in WSB if he's not riding in GP, that would be something.

another team for Max to p**s off then.... wont last the season with them in my opinion.... shame really becos i do think he has brought 'something' into WSB....

Are there any potential Ducati seats for Shakey still available? I think it would be great to see him in WSB.

Both Sterilgada seats open IIRC (Biaggi>Aprillia, Xaus>BMW) maybe Shakey could go there? Xerox team is Haga and Fabrizzio. Apparently Rolfo is Biaggis team mate. Hoffman out in the cold??!!

Word on the street is Shakey is off to Sterilgarda (GMB) with Alessandro Polita

Rumour mill is also suggesting that Sylvan Guintoli testing the R1 today to potentially take Corser's ride and become team-mate with Tom Sykes. If this is the case, then I reckon Corser > BMW

That should mix things up a bit. Guintoli seems to be quick on a good day, and Shakey is crazy. Will be interesting to see how Sykes goes. He's fast, but not been the most consistant. That may well be down to the bike though, as even Shakey had awful results on it.
