Hi everyone,
Bought myself a R1 Schuberth no more than 3 weeks ago. Last week I've noticed the anti fog film peeling off, but I've ignored it. Yesterday however, I found the lid in this state: ![]() ![]() Definately not normal, but do you think it could be replaced under warranty? Afetr all tis' a 200+ quid lid :/ Cheers |

It does look like it, but they normally only put that on the outside of the visor not the inside...
I'd say take it up with Schuberth and see what they say...

Don't take it up with Schuberth, take it up with the retailer which sold it to you. Your contract is with them, don't let them fob you off by sending it back.
If it is the anti fog film coming away, then it is not fit for purpose, to the extent that it is a safety risk, and you can ask for a full refund. Either let the shop exchange it for another or give you a total refund. |

Def just double check it's not the protective film (that should have been peeled off when it was sold).
I've rode for a couple of hours with terrible vision before I realised I hadn't peeled off the cover on my Pinlock insert....... |

Yup, but the protective film was on the outside, this is on the inner side of the visor.
Vision was perfect and overall I've been happy with the lid. |

Take it back and ask for the visor replacing.

i would take it back..it looks like sort of lacquer layer on the inside..had it on my old helmet but only started coming away after a long time..resisted peeling it all off. Its kind of thin and crinkly once peeled
