Default Red Rubber Grease

Anyone know if you can get it from Central Auto Supplies? Need to get hold of some for 2moro.

Or if anyone knows of another piston friendly derivitive that is readily available?

I know, I know I'm sorry. I read through the others but everyone seemed to just recommend ordering from the net. I can't wait that long as I need to be back out on the bike on Sat.

Pmapp. You have no idea how stupid I feel

IIRC anything mineral based will do the job.

I think it was Jambo that had an interesting conversation with Castrol when he couldn't get any. If memory serves, used chip fat is perfectly adequate.

Don't go using it just on my say so though.

My calipers survived for 5 years with out the stuff so i wouldnt bust a gut over it to be honest. I did manage to pick up a couple of sachets from a local motor factor. Just apply it when you can get hold of some.

I was under the impression that you used RRG because it wasn't petroleum (mineral?) based. Where's banana.

How far are you from Clapham near Bedford? I have a large tub I can spare some from.
