How kind. I wonder if they had blues and twos going to get to the shops before closing time

Congrats to the staff.

As for what happened, I'm very supprised to hear that the mother has been arrested for neglect due to leaving her kids (eldest could be 9, almost 10) alone for one night!! That's a bit of overkill IMO, unless there's more to the story than the article states.

I know I used to frequently look after myself anywhere from the age of 6. I don't feel like I was neglected. Just sounds a bit knee-jerk to me - maybe the mother was out buying presents for the children at the time (long shot, but hey, devils advocate here!).

Baph

I would think there is alot more to it than that, I have arrested one person for neglect in 5 years and trust me the circumstances justified it, but written down it didn't appear worthy of the arrest LOL. Hope the kids had a good Xmas no matter what. Good on the boys and gals in blue
