Just watched it. Very interesting. The documentaries always skip The Final Cut. I guess there's not much to say- the band relationship was proply broked at that point, but there are still some great and very moving songs on that album.
No mention of UmmaGumma there as well. Doh! Not even a word about Several Species of Small Furry Animal Gathered Together and Grooving With A Pict. A marvellous track indeed! |

Just watched that and sighed sadly when Waters was being smug.
I remember watching Live 8 on TV when Pink Floyd came on. I was building a back wheel for my road bike at the time and had just started to tension the spokes. As much as I love the music of Waters, I do think him to be an irritating man. So BBC, when are you going to do a revealing documentary about the Amebix? Am I alone in loving them? Help me out here Hovis... |

im sure all you lovers have seen it but if not look out for "the making of..." album documentaries on dark side of the moon. great viewing too.
walters was v smug last night, came across a bit of a plonker. and what i didnt notice at the time of live 8, it was obvious they enjoyed their set but when they left wright mason and gilmour had an extra 3 way hug and wave to the crowd after walters had left the stage....still bad feelings there obviously |

One thing I noticed last night, the uncanny resemblance between Dave Gilmore, star of Pink Floyd and Mila Jovovich, star of Resident Evil.
![]() ![]() That must surely make them twice as snoggable... ![]() |
