Default Braided Lines - Another stupid Question

Is there a difference between the front brake lines for a curvey & a pointy?

Just been looking on the HEL site, although you can select different years, it sticks the same item in the basket.

i.e. select a 01 curvey add to basket, select a 04 pointy add to basket. Basket now says I want a quantity of 2 kits.

Bit confused. Sorry if this has been asked before.

yes there is a difference. Recently another member ordered some for his K6 pointy, and when he got them and YC offered them up, they didn't match. Although it said K3 to K8 on the box. He had to ring them up and ask for some more that fit
Along came me and my 2000 curvy..ooo they fitted mine...got them put on at the weekend!

HEL sent me lines that were supposedly for a gixxer but they were nothing like gixxer lines. So we just looked at the catalogue and picked the fittings that were most like the standard fittings.

Curvey has a splitter on the bottom yoke (extra 2 banjo bolts to split the 1 feed from master cylinder to 2 calipers). Pointy has the lines permanently attatched together on the RHs of the mudguard in a steel block.

Easy way which makes more sense than farting about with the daft OEM setup is go for a 2 line (race) setup.
