Just a quick 1 people,
The SV needs a new chain, so I'll be changing chain + both sprockets, im planning on going +1 tooth to the rear sprocket, my Q. is will i be able to use the standard 110link chain? or do i need a 112link? i.e with a new chain is there enough adjustment on the swingarm to get the wheel that little bit more forward to squeeze in that extra tooth? thanks in advance |

By adding one sprocket onto the rear of your SV650S will be reverting your bike to the same gearing as a SV650N.

(I can never remember) what affect does this have? Better acceleration or better top end?

well actually im going +2, from a 44 to a 46.
and from an 108 to an 110 link if it will fit?. but all these numbers will confuse the Q. lol so on the basis of sv650n gearing, 15 - 45 - 110 will i get away with 15 - 46 - 110???? or will i need a 112 link chain dave? |

On a curvy you'd be fine with 110.
