Default 4000 Mile Service Cost

Hi All,

Does anyone have a rough idea how much a 4000 m service is for an SV650?

Anyone know if you do the service yourself using Suzuki genuine parts, does this invalidate your warranty?

Cheers

SV650S.......

Yes - you need a dealer stamp for the warranty.

mine cost me £120, but that was the cheapest i could find after making quite a few calls so make sure you call around and don't go for the first garage as they may be ripping you off.

also i contacted suzuki gb and they told me as long as the parts were genuine (from a suzuki dealer) and you kept all receipts then this wouldn't invalidate the warranty (the receipts (in essence) act as a substitute for the stamp

gd luck mate

probably do you out of the warranty if you didn't put contact cleaner on the battery terminals

Do it yourself, i bought 5 services for £500 and regretted it ever since as for what they do it's cost me more like £700 and a lot of stress, aggro.

As long as you oil + filter every 4k everything won't be too bad.

Depends if you can find a dealer that'll stamp your book for £5
