can i fit my optimate charging lead without the fookin thing going off? i heard somewhere i'll have a few seconds to get it connected without any problems is this right?

Eh, I have a datatool S4 C1 Red and have no issues using an optimate.

even if u disconnect the battery? i need to fit the charging harness.

Put the alarm into service mode, you can then disconnect the battery with the alarm going off. It will emit a small chirp every 20 seconds or so whilst its in service mode though.

ok errr how do i do that? personaly i hate alarms but the bike came with it fitted and i aint got a hand book, i know its the green model? bout 12 months old.

On my datatool, it was ignition on, hold down the "arm" button till the alarm beeped at me. Then turn the ignitino off and wait a few seconds and should emit a quiet beep to tell you its in service mode.
I'm not sure what model yours is though so I'm not 100% certain its going to work...

You are missing the point Mr Gr33k. Kwak needs to disconnect his battery to facilitate the permanent Optimate lead fitment. He wants to do this without causing alarm mayhem.
