Got them for £5 so decided they were worth a shot. They haven't turned up yet but was wondering if anyone has any idea what they're like.

Don't know about crash protection, don't think they would help.
Got them for the paddock stand (not to damage/dislocate the Scottoiler), they are ok for that. |

judging by how much they stick out and how little bolt sits in the swingarm i'd imagine all they'll do is rip the thread out of the swingarm when you crash...

I used em on my SV and they did a fine job of holding the bike stable on a stand. Never crash tested them.
