Default Anyone used these?

Got them for £5 so decided they were worth a shot. They haven't turned up yet but was wondering if anyone has any idea what they're like.

Got something similar on my CBR. Haven't tested the crash bit yet though.

Don't know about crash protection, don't think they would help.
Got them for the paddock stand (not to damage/dislocate the Scottoiler), they are ok for that.

judging by how much they stick out and how little bolt sits in the swingarm i'd imagine all they'll do is rip the thread out of the swingarm when you crash...

they are to be used with a paddock stand, so you dont sctatch your swing arm,

+1. This is their main purpose. The (IMO negligble) crash protection they offer is definately secondary. Depending on where your can is located, it might be impossible for them to touch down until your exhaust has been ripped off anyway.

I used em on my SV and they did a fine job of holding the bike stable on a stand. Never crash tested them.
