Speedo still not working after rotor change.

Hiya everyone speedo still not working,changed speedo rotor
even though the one we removed was in perfect working order, is the next course of action likely to be the sensor?

Checked all wiring to the connector even took apart and sprayed with wd40.

Priced one today it's 110 quid has anyone got one they don't need
or were i can source one, tried fleabay only one is for 2000 model mines a K3 would that fit?

Have you changed the bit with the four black tabs on, is that what you are saying?

Ye that's the rotor, that was like brand new,but as i had already ordered it presuming it was that fitted it anyway.

So what aspects of the speedo are working? Lighting to it? Odometer working?

Everything is working fine,the odo was working before i took it apart and changed rotor,that's not working either now.

So i've disturbed something. but like i said everything else works fine.

Right I remember in a thread a while ago, YC told someone to check they had alligned the tabs correctly, checked all that up?

Ye i think so put it back how it came out.
