Default 1st Bike - Picked up this Morning

I finally managed to pick up my 2002 Silver Curvy, as shown in the pictures.

After a schoolboy error of letting her fall on the sellers drive, I got to grips with her - and I've been out riding since 10am this morning - getting my mileage.

What do you think? oh any comments on the rear tyre would be appreciated, and if I need to change it.

One last thing, I think the bike has been sitting throughout the winter, and I've noticed that while riding, if I stall the bike after a long ride and go to start it the bike has no life - like the battery has totally drained. It happened at the sellers house, and again when I was parked in J&S Greenwich luckily they jumped started me and all was well.

I have bought a battery charger, hoping the battery just needs a boost.

Comments please?

Yep, that'll be my next purchase, along with a rear tyre - as I think it's a little low of tread.

Sounds bad i think some people would say buy the front one at the same time, different feel between tyres etc. having said that i don't know much, i've just read that somewhere.
Good luck whatever you do

Thingus, Unfortunately a new front was fitted on the bike back end of of last year, so I am reluctant to purchase another front again - that would burn an even bigger hole in my empty pocket.

I understand what your saying though.

Its a well documented fact, if there are people watching you, and your first time on a new bike, should said bike fall it is completely and utterly the bikes fault

welcome aboard enjoy your new bike.

Rear tyre dont look too worn from the pic. What type tyre is fitted to the front? If its an OK tyre aim to fit similar to the rear when you change.

Looks really nice mate, don't worry about dropping it, they seem to bounce fairly well - I dropped mine when I got home on the ride back from buying it so you're not the only one!
