Hi all, new to sv's trying to build race bike for friends son to race got a K7 but getting very confused about wheels from model to model or maybe bandit 1200 wheels. So question what fits from model to model need WOW.cheers shane.

Wheels are not a straight swap between models. They can be used but spacers, spindles and discs appropriate to each wheel will be needed. For Bandit 12 wheels spacers etc will need to be made up.

both model of sv wheels fit, carby pre 2003 fronts go in with original bearings but spacers are required either side to ensure correct engagment of spindle and wheel centralising.
Back goes in but the spacer tube and bearings are required to be changed to the injected size (larger) I think an early 600 bandit front wheel fits but technicaly its not sv so would not be allowed unless it carried the same part numbers I would have thought. Might be worth contacting Tim Jones Or Mike Edwards to confirm about the bandit wheels though. Pipey ![]() |
