Default Norton Commando

If any company was to make a modern version of an iconic bike what would you wish for....my childhood dream was always to own a Norton Commando. Hopefully my dream will come true in the next couple of years

Now how about a Laverda Jota ?

I've been following this for some years now, this was made by a company in Canada, they had the rights to the Norton name in Canada and America, but not Europe or here, as far as I know the people with the rights over here (the ones planning to race the Norton development rotary) have teamed up with them (or something) and they plan to use the racing bit as publicity for the sale of the 961 and variants, it's been on sale from Canada as a special order version for a few years (originally the 952) with very bling bits, they were supposed to be bringing out a more basic version for around the £8k mark, be interesting to see.

A nice touch is the timing cover is exactly the same mounting footprint as the original Norton item, so you can take off the machined one and fit a curvy original if you want............Hmmmmmm Nice.
