Default Modern Warfare 2: Final thoughts.

In previous posts I was not a big fan of the game as I felt it was a little bit arcadey.

However, after finishing the game I can now officially say:

AWESOME.

The single player campaign is incredible. A real visual treat, one level really stands out as just stupid and annoying though, the one in Brazil. So tough and all the enemies seem to be crack shots and can shoot you in the eye from about 500 meters away. That level aside the game and story are good, you just have to get away from the "realistic" train of thought and go along with it.

Great fun. Probably won't try MP as I will last about 3 seconds!

If you haven't got it already, do so. a darn fine game.

I actually played split screen Multiplayer the other night, it wasn't that great, I'm not going to call it quits at that, I will play the Campaign sometime soon.

Got 1000 gamerscore on it just before the weekend. The singleplayer is weak compared to playing spec-ops with a friend on veteran. Some of the missions are properly, properly epic

You should give it a go - I think you'd surprise yourself.

It's not that difficult and there are so many players online you're bound to find a game with people of a similar ability before too long.

Set up a private match and take a look at a couple of the maps first. Get your bearings a bit.

To be honest I have very little free time so probably won't try and get into MP or my studies may suffer!

There are always a load of 12 year olds that are rubbish at online! Having said that, there are always a load of "Southpark WoW" type people that will kill you in the blink of an eye. Its good fun though!

Just started playing online. I was completely crap at it. Like I get killed 14 times and kill 3.
But this morning I managed 15 kills!!! Which was awesome for me. Really getting into the online stuff. Used to hate it cos you get 10 year olds that are geekly good at it.

You get some proper knobs of it too. Had one guy screaming over the (what I like to call) fanny boys microphone about some guy that was in his way stopping him from getting through a door. Saying some pretty weird things too. Can you block fanny boys microphone or have you got to listen to these tards?

You can block anyone at anytime, press select, move to that person and tap mute. I tend to block everyone with a mic who isn't a mate. That way its bliss and can just chat with your mates only.

That's because they are actually using bullets sized footballs which explains why they are so good

Yeah I loved the Campaign even if i did finish it in a night
For £39.99 you expect a bit more than a nights play time!
That said the Challenges and MP I can see keeping me amused for a few months yet, I'm loving the fact you have to advance in the Multiplayer to unlock new weapons, then acheive certain stats such as 100 kills or 100 headshots, to unlock the additional attachments for said weapon, which I can see taking me a while!
Add in the "Feats" and it's a great thing, shame the PC doesn't have dedicated servers and the gameplay is very fast but with no real strategy involved , may have to get myself into a Clan but I can't see them forming on the PC given the lack of Servers!
