Default belly pan / fairing

right then - what difference will this do to a naked bike, apart from looks? secondly anyone selling one - silver or black.

It will do zero. They claim that in a cross wind it will make the bike more stable but in my opinion the big bloke riding the bike is the difference not the belly pan.

Buy it if you think the bike looks better but don't if you think it will improve handling or performance.

The belly pan "might" protect the oil filter from stones etc. It has been known for them to be pierced albeit very rarely.

You won't be spending much time cleaning your engine anymore

It's supposed to be improving the airflow, but I bought mine for looks.

Of, and if you have lowers, make sure you take care of the front spark plug before you're running on 1.

as dyziowg said i also got mine for looks, i dont think it dose much for the airflow but it dose change the look of the bike and protect the bottom of your engine from road crap
