Default Number Plate Bracket

Hey all,

Was riding today when the number plate decided to take a wonder and drop off!

I havent got a tail tidy, but the original number plate tray has been cut I think, and the mini-indicators are attached to it.(was like this when i bought it).

Now, Im wondering whether to invest in a tail tidy or get another metal bar and attach it. Any tips? I absolutely fail at DIY stuff, especially on bikes! Im in Glasgow btw.

Heres some pics:

That looks like the mother of somebodies home made bodge.

I'd be after a tailtidy and doing it properly if that were me, you'll probably need to invest in some new mini indcators though as I dont think those will fit / been seen well enough on a hamicad or similar.

I'd agree. That looks a mess. Looks like vibration killed off the bracket

Defo a cut and shut job on the original snow shovel. Get someone a bit practical to make you a replacement. I made my own under tray and brackets for my curvey (with a template from on the .org) and it worked really well.
Since that I've made one for my Triumph and I'm doing a Ducati this weekend. It's not to hard once you get past the frightening bit of sawing off the back of your bike. Having said that though, I've never looked at the pointy but from the picture I'd say a nice little ali plate is in order with some carefully fashioned brackets.
Would offer to give you hand but you're 600 miles away
