Default Convo with a van man

So i was in traffic this morning, and looking at a porsche. nice car, biiig brakes then i turned my ehad the other way, and a driver of a blue van leans over and says "rich bi*ch!" because it was being driven by a woman. He laughed and i laughed and we agreeed it was a nice car. I demonstrated though how it dosnt sound as good as my bike (vrooom vrooom) then he said i'm robably better off since i can filter and she's stuck there.

I then told him how much i paid for my bike (£1500) and he couldnt beleive it was so cheap. I was quite suprised at his reaction...has anyone else ever had this kind of reaction when telling someone who dosnt know much about bikes things like that?

Nice chap he was, good to have a talk while waiting at traffic lights.

No most people I talk to have no interest in bikes. "what you paid £1000 to get yourself killed?"

Sort of, when I was having a traffic light gp with a Ferrar F430 I reminded the owner that my bike only cost me £3400 and it still beat his car to 60. Made me feel great.

I had filtered to the front of at set of traffic lights and found myself at the side of an Artic Lorry. The driver wound down his window and shouted 'I'll give you a head start' Made me chuckle.

lol! Awesome. I was filtering down the A40 once and there were two of those ferraris side by side, drivers obviously bored because they started having a sound-off competition, engines off the limiters and everything. So i crawled in between came to a stop and looked at them both and promptly did the same thing with my engine. We were all freinds, lots of laughing and smiling. Then I just carried on and left them annoying the other people stuck in traffic.

MrS, thats funny...did you win

Hovis, my mum said she didnt like yellow bikes. The day i brought a yellow bike. booooo

Lol i dont think so! I guess it was something we had in common, both lowly paid people traveling around in vehicles designed for purpose rather than anything like what that porsche was designed for
