Give Beenz a PM, he got a brand new one last year, fully loaded for touring.

IIRC Amarko has one as well.
I've ridden one had one for a loaner when my GSXR was in for a service. I really enjoyed it. Big and comfy, loads of torque as you'd expect, engine and gearbox silky smooth. Needed a bit of work to hustle it into and through a corner but once turned in seemed very stable and held its line quite nicely. Not really my cup of tea, but if I wanted a bike for commuting / going touring / two up work I'd buy one.

There was a recent bike mag which did an article as a direct comparison entitled "the bandit comes alive" in which they thought it was a big improvement. It was nov 07 edition I think, I've just been to find it and scan it, but I've just thrown it away, not had much mag reading time so I'm just on the last few pages of december now and this years editions are still unopened!
The December edition has a road test of the Bandit GT vs the CBF1000 and Tiger if you want a copy I'll scan it. |
