Decided i will treat the missus tonight and cook her something special for dinner however have no idea what i could have ago at. I would like to think im competent enough to tackle most things so don't be shy with suggestions! Oh and recipes along with ideas would be good!

try a jamie oliver beef stroganoff,
it looks great, sounds complicated but really its the easiest thing I've ever cooked. (got me serious browny points with my misses) |

Okay you could try my Chicken in white wine and mushroom sauce, or there's the Plowsie Medley which sounds and looks horrifying but works wonders...

Chicken fajitas are a firm favourite in our house at the mo' and so are meatballs and spaghetti. Both are dead easy to make too.
I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but either me or the missus cook something from Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food cookbook virtually every night of the week so that might be worth a look if you're short of ideas. |

Jamie again, from his 1st cookbook. So simple too. Its chicken breasts, some suitable vegs and wine all wrapped up in a tin foil parcel for cooking and delivey to the table.
I'll post up full recipie if you like the sound of this.

A nice spicy chilli, served with a ton of red wine. Thats what i'm cooking anyway..
Serve in tacos or with rice and dont forget to throw some black chocolate and red wine in the sauce, mmmmmm. |
