If so what's it like?
Things to know about the area for people thinking of moving to there? Anything useful appreciated. |

I grew up living in Ditton, I haven't been there for a long time (nearly 20 years) but it was a good place to be
Racking my brains for useful info...its a good location as lots of places are in short reach. Aylesford has the Quarry Wood Estate which has a Sainsbury's, Halfords, Comet etc and Maidstone town is a short trip along the road from there. Ditton also has a community centre with a big field and playground, there's schools, a church, a stream, yep it's a nice place. I ought to re-visit at some point. Erm - hope that helps! ![]() |

I work in Aylesford. THe village itself is really pretty with the river medway running through. Transport links into the city arn't very good. U'd need a train from maidstone. Maidstones got everything you need though.
Theres some nice lakes to walk round in Aylesford too. M20 is right next door Theres a bike meet in a local cafe every wednesday too. (Oakdeane if you didn't know ![]() |
