Default Single sided swingarm

Just been looking at some of the images on home page and spotted a stunning curvy with single sided swingarm (page 24 images). Wondered if anyone knew anything about the bike and what swingarm was used. Looks like a duke back wheel so probably duke swingarm, just wondered if anyone knows any different.

Yes, go to http://www.bayarearidersforum.com and search for posts by 'tygaboy'.

It was IIRC an RC30 swingarm (needing lots and lots of work, VFR750 is meant to be far easier) and 916 rear wheel.

Seems to be quite popular with the septics, not seen one over here.

Try on svrider.com too

Considering it makes the bike heavier.

I think I would like something snazzy, but lighter, else I just couldn't see the point.

Well done chaps, thanks for the info, I have an nc24 in shed gathering dust, but to be honest I think the single sided suits the looks of the curvy better than it would my pointy. I presume an nc30 swingarm would fit and allow the use of a 160 section tyre.

Tygaboy is the man. "I wish I had a carbon fibre tank for my SV. I know! I'll learn how to make carbon fibre tanks, then make one, for a laugh".

One of the guys on SV Rider has managed to wedge some sort of VFR arm into his pointy without any welding... But to be honest it's a horrific bodge, the suspension arrangement he's built for it is just madness. If you want to do it, do it right. I think speedfab would do one for about £250 notes...

Tyre size etc is down to various things- arm choice, wheel choice, fitment.
