I dunno, look at the manual for your bike and see what the 4k service is! On GSXR it could be loads of work, but AFAIK it's nothing special.

Thats exactly what I paid for my 4k on the SV. Granted alot will say just change the oil yourself but if your not 100% with checking the bike then there no harm done taking it in somewhere in my eyes.
If the dealer does just give it an oil change its obviously a rip off. I took mine to a garage I had been recommended, they checked everything and spotted the 'headraces?' needed tightening up and a host of other things were adjusted......the bike came back feeling amazing.

A dealer trained mechanics first service is usually; - Air filter check and clean - Spark Plugs - Oil change - Coolant check - Throttle cable check - Clutch cable check - Chain check - Brake system check - lubricate relevant parts/components - Tyre and wheel check - All nuts tightened correctly |
