Default Tyres In Mids.

New to bikes, need new rubber, down to 1mm on the front & on wear indicators on the back, anyone recommend a ride in/out place around the mids?
Im in Worcester.

Thinking of BT021's don't do track days, only general riding & on the Welsh TT etc. when I get the chance, so want something durable rather than track rubber which will be 'gone in 60 seconds'.

Don't mind the idea of a ride to somewhere within reasonable distance if there is a highly recommended place that can do them late friday afternoon or sat.

Thanks Org.

Sticky Jim's in Shifnal (east side of Telford). Good service and not pricey.

Can I recommend you give Dynamec a call, based near Holt Heath. Otherwise, I used to get Avon Storms at Bikersworld in Drakes Broughton done at £180 for the pair on a ride in / ride out basis. Thats the cheapest I found around Worcester and is a good rate.

wheelhouse tyres is part of bikersworld so the worcester branch should do the same deal. Tyre prices are going though the roof when old stock runs out so get in sharpish.

I ride the socks off my VFR800 on rideouts and commute upto 1000mls a week, 021's do the job just fine,

What bike is attached to the wheels mate?

Thanks for all the answers, ended up getting Avon Viper Storms, £201 fitted, balanced etc.etc. as ride in / out.
Went to Dynamec as suggested, thanks DrewC, all I can say is what a thoroughly nice chap!
When I phoned for a price, helpful, polite & friendly! didn't have them in stock, but could get them for next day.
Went in this morning, fitted, paid, done.
Better than many purchase experiences I have had over the years, I'll be going back.

They were good when I went too. Also, just a recommendation but if your able to get the wheels off will save you about £30.

Have fun with the avons.......they're brilliant.

Drew, if you buy rubber from them, £35 pair for fitting, if you bring in loose wheels & a.n.other's rubber, they will fit for £45.

For me being Noob, was worth the £35 to watch what to do & how, I have rear stand, but not for the front, so would have to jack up etc.etc. to give them loose wheels.

Guess at my age, am happy to pay someone, only if they give good service like this, to do the dirty work.

Thanks again for the lead.

Hope it bloody stops raining 2mora so I can use up some of the new rubber!
