20k miles, anything to do? - SV650.org

Hi people

I'm new here and had my SV650 for about 6months now, its fantastic.
Its just gone over to 20,000miles and was just wondering if theres any scheduled work that needs doing to it other then servicing?

The service schedule lists all the work that needs doing, and the things that need inspecting or replacing.

By "servicing" do you mean just changing the oil? it might need one or two other things doing. Have the valve clearances been checked? This is normally done around 16k miles.

Check chain wear 20k is normaly the end of their life when properly maintained, but if you have a scotoiler it will prob out live the bike
