Just been quoted £123 for a rear Storm fitted to the bike, its a local place, so no messing about, is this a good price? I dont really want to go through all the agro of buying one off the net, driving the Bike & car down there to have it fitted.

I was quoted £103 (ride in/out) for an SV rear from the guy I like to use about a month ago, but I think Avon's prices have gone up since then. I can only suggest your try one or two other places and see what they quote.

I paid around £75~ for the tyre from busters and then £20 fitting to the bike. 2 weeks ago. (Avon storm on the rear)
No agro.. just tie the rear tyre to the rear of the bike took under 5 mins to tie it up. |

Try FWR if you don't mind not having "the latest" boots.
Just got a AV46AzaroST for a great price. (What I used before Avon brought out Storms) Just the same, apart from the rear 46 looking super sexy. ![]() http://www.fwr.co.uk/indexright.htm That price is a little salty if its a 160 and fitted. But what price convenience? If you use your bike everyday......Bish bash bosh back-on-the-road. If not, what about, buy tyre on net, take wheel off bike, chuck both in car, go get fitted? |
