Default no claims bonus, Transfering to another person

I have two cars insured one with 10+ no claims and the other with 2 years no claims.

Is it possible to transfer one of the no claims to my wifes policy ?, as she has no "no claims" at the moment.

Just a general question.

you can phone around and ask, some insurance brokers will do unusual things, but transferring NCB between drivers is something i doubt any of them would do

I believe some companys do it if she has been a named driver on the policy for a good length of time... but I'm afraid you're going to have to phone around, as I can think of any off the top of my head

Directline recognise a 2nd named driver's ncb and award them the same discount if they take out their own policy at renewal. Also if you're both insured with DL, you get an extra 10% off, and same again if you have contents insurance with em...

insurance is pants
