Any farmers or land owners on here?? We could have a ORG festival of a type.

Anyone in a position to sort something like this??

Because i am on a local club commitee I am being pressured to arrange something local by a few mates that are in bands, a chatity night possibly....and thought it would be ace if the ORG could have their own concert! Has anything like this been done before?

There will be mucho beers and merriment at AR09.
However for anything else involving live music and associated liveliness you need licences - for music and for alcohol for a start, otherwise it's called an illegal rave and locals and police don't like them much and try to stop them. Sorry

Rubbish get in touch with the licensing dept at your local council.

Do a plan to show you got health and safety and fire regs in hand etc etc and guess how many people will turn up and put a cap on it.

If you need I will get some help from local council licnsing dept in my town and see what is needed. I been working in licensing for 8 months and seen many a temporary event notice granted .... dont rule it out not that hard.
