Laptop Screens

I've read a few times on a couple of different forums "My laptop screen is broke" Advice generally given by people who don't have a clue is "its cheaper to get a new laptop". Well they're dead wrong, so for those who's laptop screens are broke I've made a little guide complete with pictures on how to change a screen and if you ask nicely enough I'll find you the screen from some where that does mail order. If you want the guide send me an private message and I'll email you it. If you get stuck I'll try and help as best I can and if want a video of how to sort something out I'll do that for you as well. So if you want it send me a PM with your email address and I'l get it sent to you.

What a great idea and a very good offer for us incompetent it whizzes!!!

However, if someone only has a laptop and they have a problem with the screen which causes a poor picture, how are they meant to read your advice?

Hopefully they can get on another computer and I can send them a word document they can print out

YOOOO, the missus' laptop screen is a pain. It works but then goes on a mad flickering trip and you have to either nearly close it up to stop it or open it to the full extent of the brackets. I would presume that I can just swap the screen over but not looked into it. What you think?

Aye, that's what mine did, then I put my fist through it. My back light stopped working last night so I took some pictures while i was making sure all of the connections were all working properly. If you want I'll send you it as soon as I can, have a bit of work to do and my starter to fix but I can send it once thats done, I have a fw people to send it out to any ways.

YEP.....nearly done tha myself SOOOOO many times. It's so annoying. Sometimes, I can open it and it'll be a bit flickery, but then settle and be perfect for an hour or two...GREAT. Then, BAAAAAD. Flickers like a hummingbirds wings!

TBH, I think a new laptop would be best as I've battered the life out of this for the last 6 months of flickering!!!
