Default Suitability

Hi guys! First Post!

Picking up my sv650s '01 black in 2 weeks cant wait!

A few people have said it's too small for me, i'm 6'1" and 13.5 stone. What do you guys think who are riding them already??

I cannot wait to get on it!

Thanks
Stu

Welcome, first big bike or you been riding for a long time?

Fill in some of your details like location etc even visit your local areas subforum and maybe get to know some of them and even meet up wth them for ride outs

Enjoy!

I think you'll be fine. The SV isnt a tiny tiny bike really, its not had that kind of development. Its a road bike, designed for the road - not for the race track like a CBR600 or something, so it dosnt have the extreme bum-up, head down, knee's around your ears riding position. Its sporty, but its usable. My SV (1999 curvy S) is less sporty than a GSXR750, which as far as sports bikes goes is itself a bit of an armchair!

Happy riding
