Default Streetfighter Clocks

Anyone got any links for compact streetfighter clocks? Specifically ones that run off a speedo cable, not digital. Also needs a temperature gauge

Cheers

Why do you need them to run off a speedo cable? These tend to be stand-alone speedos.

I would simply disconnect cable at the drive and run the magnet+sensor setup supplied with almost all digital dashes.

Davepreston recently fitted a trailtech vapor IIRC.

Oh I didn't realise they came with magnetic sensors. That trailtech only seems to have the right connectors for an sv. It's a tzr I'd be fitting it to

Figured it was the TZR.

Daveprestons trailtech came with its own sensor, AND they confirmed to him that you cannot use the stock SV sensor with that dash. They use 1 pulse per rev... SV uses 4.

Rev counter just attach to coil -ve.

Temp gauge has a pipe fitting, you cut a coolant hose and put this fitting in the join between them.

It just measures the coolant? Is that what the standard temp gauge measures?

Yes. What else are you going to do? It would be rather pointless to measure oil temperature on a 2 stroke

God knows lol. I never really thought about it. It's just the standard temp pickup is in the engine

No it isn't. It's in the thermostat housing.
