Curvey starting problem.

2001 curvey

the bike has recently been fine, then yesterday it would turn over as much as you like but wouldnt start. after turning it over for a minute or to it run.

the bike then run fine with no problems untill i stopped, took helmet off and tried again. it would just turn over and over and over with no firing.

this afternoon me and my dad took the bike apart, plugs are fine, fuel is getting through the pump and it was happily pumping fuel out at the carb end.

we took the fuel pump apart any way and noticed on of the valves had pulled through the small hole, we pushed it back and it sealed nicely. put it all bk on the bike, fuel bk in and tried it, nothing at first then i flicked the kill switch on and off and it ran fine. (at first we didnt connecnt the fuel level sensor bk up connected it, this is when i flicked the switch and it worked)

the bike was starting fine then, now ive just gone out on it, again run fine. stopped and tried starting again and ive got nothing. flicked kill switch still nothing, i knew it was too good to be true. until now ive had no problems.

can any one help please?

just gone out there, was doing the same, tried some choke and its started and ticked over fine.

what could cause these problems when you first stop the engine.

any help appreciated.

I know this was some time back, but did you figure out what the problem was?
My curvey has started doing exactly the same (ie wont start after running once its switched off and tried again)
