Thumbs up Best Suspension set-up guide Ive found.

Good Morning,

Well I have been playing around with my suspension for a while now trying to get it feeling just right. I think ive done that and all along ive been trying to run with too much front compression dampening basically.

Anyway, my story over, here is something I found just having a look to see if what ive adjusted recently is what might have caused what ive been feeling upto now. I found this which I think is great. Its easy to follow and explains what you should/shouldn't feel.

It only talks about the suspension setting's not ride height etc, but thats not something most people play with and if you do its all down to personal taste like many things.

Anyway, have a read and discuss it. If you have any more questions then I might be able to help you, ive learnt a lot with my playing about so I might be able to help.

Cheers!

Aye no problem, need a new rear on (cords are showing!) then I can think about actually using all that adjustable suspension.

Love that page. Took me about 3 hours to set up the front, but it's been great ever since. Delicious.

Meant to do it ages ago but assumed I probably wouldn't notice the difference so never did. Is it really that noticeable on the sv?

As the sv is only damping its minimal, i set mine up cable ties on stanchons and now have my fr suspension on softest preload, i norm have about 1.2mm distance between bottom yoke and cable ties so its close to recommend, i found when i frst did it it tipped in a lot better, now just to set up my rear suspension
