Riding home from work and day suddenly turned into night. It absolutely lashed in down here in Leeds and i was caught in it on the bike. The ring road suddenly turned into river. I had to pull over it was that dangerous.
Anyway, i was more bothered about my poor bike getting drenched rather than myself. I think the sheer amount of water has done a bit of damage to the electrics. Firstly the horn has stopped working. I have cleaned the little connectors but its still not working. Secondly, the low fuel warning light didn't come on today even after 140 miles. Before it came on (flashing) around 125'ish. I haven't been riding economically so i'm worried its packed in. Any ideas? |

The horn, spray some WD40 in it, they're prone to tempilarily giving up.
As for fuel light, i'd check how much petrol is actually in. Maybe fill up and keep an eye on it. |
