chaps and chapesses, i have uploaded a select few of my images to facebook. I have loooadddss and have been trying to sort them all morning, and i was gonna put up some on a thread but photobucket is lame.

Some great photos there Matt, nice work.

Personally i think your are far better than the tracks ones. Why? You "worked" for your photos. Tracking a bike to keep it focused while keeping a slow enought exposure to keep the sensation of speed takes a lot more work than jusy snapping at bikes as they pass and everything in shot is still and pin sharp. Anyone can do that.
Your technique takes a lot more practice and skill, i know i used to try it and fail miserably

well the tracking wasnt working in the morning...then i turned off the vibration reduction and i started to get a bit better

generally, i try to capture the atmosphere of an event in my photos...the track photos just show you all riding aorund, which is great and all but theres all the laughter and freindship. The one of mr and mrs anderson hugging is definatly one of my favorites...its representative of the day almost

i'll remove that one, it was the only sweaty individual shot i got, thought it showed up how damn hot it was there
