Default Bt-021

One word: fantastic!

I don't know whether it's the hot weather or weather I'm a bit more confident in chucking the SV round corners, but now I only have about 4mm left of chicken strips after 140 miles with the new Bridgestone BT-021s.

Better than the Z6's and miles ahead of the old BT-020s.

Definitely worth a try if you need new rubber!

Mine are about ready for the bin (certainly the rear is, but the front might be due too) after 10000 miles. Just arrived back from Holland on them though, and they were grippy both on a corkscrew 100km/h right and on fresh paint on the ferry.

It is, yes - its just about on the wear bars now though. Its also pretty square, so its definitely due. I've got to check on the front, which my last check revealed to be about 75% the same way.

Guess I might have worked out how to be gentle with them, because I've only had a few tiny slips out of them (most of them being my ham-fisted attempts at blip-downshifts over the last few weeks).

Just had BT021's fitted to my black pointy. Didn't really know if they were good or not but I was a bit stuck. Put the bike in for MOT and thought the rear was marginally Ok, it was marginally not OK. Needed the bike back and it was either BT021's or dunlops.

I'll tell you how they feel after I'v e scrubbed them in a bit.

Good choice sir!

Been using them as a rear for the last 6000 and they've only just squared off.

IMHO they feel and handle much better than the old 020's I've replaced!
