Default Just taught my boy to ride a bike :-)

My 5 year old son Max learnt to ride his bike this evening. Fantastic!

I was proud as punch as he wobbled along and then picked up speed by himself

Should save my poor back too, its not easy running behind a miniature bmx with your hand on the seat.

A momentus day! That is all.

yay , Its a fab feeling isn't it.
I almost cried 6 months ago, when my seven year old showed he could ride.

All down to grandad. Mummy is a rubbish teacher apparently

I'm sure he'll get plenty of chance to do that.

My son did the same this year. I will never forget his first ride without stabilzers. In the same afternoon he wanted to learn how to wheely. Thats my boy!

I still remember the trauma of learning to ride a bike. Falling into a bed of nettles wearing only t shirt and shorts

It's nice to read that he managed it without doing himself GBH
