Default yoshi tri-oval road legal?

ive been looking about for new cans, and i quite like the look of the yoshimura tri-oval slip on, however some i see say theyre for race use only, is this the case for all of them and the website has failed to put it on the details?

Tommyboy,

I can tell you 100% the Yoshimura Tri-oval exhaust IS NOT FOR ROAD USE. I have been wanting the same end can for my curvy SV and all the bike retailers have told me that it is not road legal. Yoshimura's own technical product spec sheet says this. Yes it does have a "removable baffle" but that is for 'quieter' track days.

I am considering a tri-oval by Quill exhausts. It is seriously worth considering because the complete stainless steel system is 400ish quid and the tri-oval exhaust is road legal.

So I'm saving up for the Quill system cause I think it looks mint.

here's their website

Cmon, buy it. breaking the law is fun. it's not like you won't take the baffles out of a road legal exhaust anyway.

Dunno about the Yoshi but I just bought an oval Evo 2 from Quill, this was around £250 for titanium plus another bit for the carbon end-cap (tail end, tarty really). Build, service etc. all top notch, they also do a triangular one as noted about, God knows of the price though. All BS marked, and if you take out the baffle it'll make your skull cave in!
