Default Bought an alarm clock for a present

My son's fiancees daughter is 5 tomorrow, so have bought her a clock to learn to tell the time. Wrapped it up this afternoon & guess what? The alarm has started to go off Never even thought about making sure it was turned off before I wrapped it DOH!

I think you'd have done better with a Barbie doll

I remember buying Chris his first wris****ch for his 5th birthday and I still remember how thrilled he was. He thought he was a proper man wearing a wris****ch lol

I recently wrapped a present and forgot that I`d taken the thing out of the box to polish it! Nothing like wrapping an empty box up!

That's so funny.....did you have to unwrap and redo it after turning the thing off?

Yes it's all wrapped up again now. I left it for about 15 mins thinking it would stop, but it just kept going.

Better than clothes! For some reason my family had a habit of wrapping up the clothes in the bag that they came in. If it wasn't bad enough to pick up a 'squashy' present; 2 seconds later and all hope of "maybe it's a cool T-shirt...." has gone when you're staring at a green Marks and Sparks bag!
