Default K1 and K2

Hi,

What's the difference between the 2 obivously the year 99-01 and 02-03 but is there actually any physical difference?

Would an exhaust made for a 2002 fit a 2001 sv650s?

K1 is a 2001 model. K2 is 2002. They are both curvy models so an exhaust should fit both models.

Front spindle pinch bolts and preload adjusters is about it really, yes just about everything is interchangable.

Cheers Mark.

99-00 had one engine design, but all parts swap. 01-02 had a slightley different engine. Probably some colour changes in between years too but I don't pay any attention about those.

Yes exhaust for K2 will fit K1

I think the major differences are an oil baffle needed to be fit on the early 99s factory fitted there after. It was then the addition of front preload adjusters on the k2.
