Give me your opinions :) (IMAGE HEAVY)

hiya everyone,
ive been a freelance web/graphic designer for a long while now but recently got a full time job at as a design and printer in a tshirt printers.
im not sure if im allowed to mention theyre names so ill wait till you guys say i can.

theyre a brilliant set of people (family run) and im feeling at home already.

on my job interview i mentioned that i did alot of websites , so he aproaches me a few weeks later telling me he had a heap load of idea for websites and he wants my help with the look of it.

so here i present my idea for a website called tshirtUK,
ill be showing this image to the boss on monday morning hopefully ill impress him.
and i wanted your opinions so that i could also show him that people from all ages and places like what it looks like (hopefully)

so here goes:

looks cool to me. Nice and clear an uncluttered. I hate web pages that are so full of puttnons and taps and menus that you dont knw where to start, this looks nice and simple to use to me.

he wanted something that appeals mostly to young people but i wanted to sort of have it appeal to both . twist it up a little.

I know i had some pretty strong ideas about how the website needed to look when we re-designed ours where i used to work.

I also know it was a smart thing to do to look at competitiors websites and see how some of them get it very right and how some get it very wrong...and to take some inspiration from the good ones of course.

of course. do you do web design yourself ?

It says "catagories" really small at the bottom of the page, I'd prefer to have a series of button links (column on left side) for each category. Quicker browsing accessibility.

and instead of "email" I'd put "contact" which jumps to a contact page with email, address, phone number perhaps (like the one at the bottom of the page, but bigger on a seperate page, for complete clarity) Meh.

I do like the look of it at the moment, but I think it needs those catagory buttons?

Yes i see where your coming from . im not entirely sure how good the coder is theyve employed though . i dont meet with him againt ill wednesday.

ill have to speak to him before i start putting things in places

God no, nowhere nearly talented enough for all that. But 3 compaines i have worked for i have been tasked with dragging them kicking and screaming into the modern world, lol.

ah i see. a man of ideas then.
