Default Electrical help - fitting new indicators.

i am half way through fitting motrax LED indy's, front and back, to my sv650s k6 and im stumped and mega frustrated.

i have only wired the rear indicators up so far, so i have LED's on the back, standard at the front. i have also wired a motrax relay. however now all 4 indicators dont work at all.

i wired the left rear as so: minty green > black
black w/white stripe > yellow

i wired the right rear as so: black > black
black w/white stripe > yellow

i wired the relay as so: cut the wires from the relay socket,
light blue > black
brown > red

can anyone help please? please? please? x thanks

Check the connections on the relay first, ensure that firstly you've correctly identified the wires and that they are connected as they should be to the relay.
If that all looks good, then remove the relay and connect the two wires directly together, do the indicators come on when you operate the switch? (Note connected thus they won't flash but this is just a test).
If yes, then the relay isn't doing what it should, triple check the connections.
If no, then check the wiring on the new indicators.

I don't know what colour convention the indicators you've got use, so ascertain which way 'round the indicators must be wired by connecting one straight to the battery, an LED will only work one way 'round, this will tell you which of the wires is the positive.
The black/white wire on the indicator connections of your bike are the negative connections - make sure that they are connected accordingly.
Take out the new flasher relay and put everything back as it was using the original, do the new indicators work? If they do they will flash too fast obviously.
If no then check everything you've done and consider putting the originals back on to test the system as standard.
