my auntie has just requested to be my freind on facebook. WTF shes doing on facebook, i dont know

shes probably going on for 60, and quite "posh" ok, shes from bradford, so posh is a bit OTT but, you know what i mean.

my status ocasanaly contains the "F" word, and i dont think this would impress here, plus some of the crap i put on there may ofend her, but it would be good to see pics of the family, including my neice

I said no, but don't deny adding her just ignore it, and if she ever asks why just say you don't use facebook that much, and didn't get round to adding her.

Yes of course you should accept her. What does it matter if she's posh, and why care if she sees what you post. People really do need to accept that everyone's different and that diversity is a good thing. Besides, as for swearing, my guess is that she has heard it all before.

Add her, then go to your profile privacy settings page and on the bits you don't want her to see, click on customise and put her name down in the 'except these people' to keep her from seeing your status and stuff.

If it would make you feel uncomfortable, no. Any photos she is able to email them to you, no problem.

My Grandad sent me a friend request and he's in his late 70's. I didn't accept it and told him that I just don't use it. The way I see it is I have my family life and then I have my internet life.

I know what you mean, my updates are often crude as hell and ill remember i have a cousin or two on there who are probably early teens, so they've obviously talked about all manner of filth at school but it doesnt mean you'd say it to them face to face.
