Default Checking my bike over for the AR09 ....

I thought I would check my SV over before the AR .... its got a bit expensive !
I started with an oil & filter change .. then plugs & air cleaner .. then thought new fork oil not a problem untill i noticed that the front pads were getting down ... so in went a new set of front pads ....
To the rear ! clean & adjust chain .. oh the rear tyre does not look like it will do the distance ... new tyre to the man with the wallet thats getting lighter !
Looking good now ... but i feel left out with my standard can .... hello is that FUEL exhausts ... yes on oval stainless can please !!!
Sod it in for a penny in for a pound !!
Hope to see You there

hahahah! Excellent look forward to seeing you again mate

I should have a new rear shock and a new clutch worm drive before AR...oil is fine (2000 miles since changed) but i do have new plugs. I think the brake pads are still ok, but im gonna change them before winter anyway.

I like this girl and her cavalier attitude to motorcycle maintenance. It's people like her who keep the amateur home mechanics like me in foreign holidays and new bikes

I'm getting a bike shop to look at my brakes tomorrow as i think they need bleeding or theres something wrong with the fluid, they've gone floppy and sloppy in last few weeks nearly hit the back of my mate on the mountain when he braked for a van so getting it done before i go.

What do i look for on my oil filter and oil other than the oil level being high enough when doing that?

And chain i'll do couple of days before that'll be me sorted ... Well once my renntec rack arrives and is fitted.
