Question pit bikes?

im thinking of getting a pit bike to mess about on, off road, i dont plan to race it, and only looking to spend £150ish (theres one for sale localy for £3000?)

is there any makes to avoid, and what size engine should i go for?

I think some people call them 'midi motos', like the mini moto, but nice forks/suspension, a bit bigger, and more power.

monster moto mk2, with a yx150 tuned motor, super moto 10" wheels

i think so, they are like mini-motos, but a bit bigger,

this cost the guy £6000 to build, he wants £3000 for it

You can get some cheap n cheerful chinese 125 pit bikes, I know a couple of lads who bought them. I'll ask where they got them when I get into work on Monday, one of the folk that rides round on them with them came off when his top yoke exploded on a little European one. I think they only paid about £100 a piece for them
