Default Down But Not Out

Picked up my bike from the shop last night after having a new avon storm fitted to the front, met up with Dave preston and Irksy went to st annes and met Newts in there,we were on the way back country lanes irksy in front then me and dp and newts behind coming up to a right hander braked started to lean i think the front lost a bit of grip i picked it up but was now starting to run wide and was not confident of leaning it over more, got onto the crap at the edge of the road was braking but then onto the grass then i think the bike must of caught on a branch or something got snagged and down we went on the left side for about 10 15ft. i was picking the bike up when dp and newts arrived, dp checked us over but apart from my left knee hurting all seemed ok with me , however the bike was a differant story it took the three of us to pull out of the undergrowth as the side stand was caught on some massive branches/vines, wheeled it up the road to a safe place and checked it over, Lh mirror snapped off, rh mini indicator the lense cover had popped off we searched for it but no joy, Lh peg assembly twisted inwards towards the bike from the front, hopefully will bend back, and last as far as i know Lh lower fairing panel has a 6-7 inch crackfrom the front inwards and a small crack by the cutout panel and of course numerouse scratches, no Irksy they don't polish out with you finger and a bit off spit.
The mirror i have ordered off ebay £24, indis local bike shop £15 for a pair, as i said hopefully the pegs gear lever will bend back, so that just leaves me with the fairing to sort out, will have to take it the lowers of for the time being, so if anybody has a lower left fairing panel in YHJ Candy Napolean Blue can you let us know please.
Anyhow knee has been a bit painfull today especially going up stairs carrying water heaters, so peeps, allways wear your leathers, and don't crash, cheers andy.

Sorry to hear this. Sounds like it could have been worse though. Hope both you and the bike get fixed soon.

Sorry to hear about your bike, but glad you got away relatively unscathed!

Get your knee checked out if it is that sore. Nothing worse than having a dodgey knee....!
