Default How should it fit & what is it worth..

I have a dainese 2 piece leathers size 50.

The trousers and chest are a perfect fit. However as im slim and tall, it seems short on the body. However, it does zip up and seems comfortable enough, just looks funny with just the jacket on as its short! What do you look for when deciding whether a suit fits or not? I have nothing to compare it with as I have never tried any other suits on before. (I had my chest measure and was bought it as a present!!!)

If I decide there are 2 small what can I be looking to sell it second hand for. It cost £400-500 and is in perfect nick?

Cheers Aran

the jackets tend to look funny as they are shorter. Keep it if it feels comfy, for days you want to go for a "blast" and track days. Get a textile jacket for casual riding and going out in (such as to do shopping, meeting people, anything that involves getting off the bike and walking).

As far as suits go, I don't own one for the reason that I couldn't afford one, it wasn't practical for my use, i don't need sliders, textile was warm with removable layers and waterproof, and finally I think wearing leathers would make me feel too confident for my riding skills. Meh.

I'd keep it if it fits though.

race jackets sit higher on the body anyway if the arm lenght is fine eg down to your wrist and its comfy your landed, as ninj1 said going for a blast wear the suit going for a bimble textiles are your friend
if your getting rid accept no less than 300 hth

Cheers guys. Its just im 6 foot 2 and so it could do with an inch or 2 more on the jacket length. Looks really silly with just jacket but when zipped up it looks fine and feels ok - bit snug! The bottoms have a stretch panel which helps alot. But the only option is to get a bigger size. Then it wont fit my chest and waste!

£300 - Thanks. Il go to local dealer and try on the bigger size and Il decide then. Are they easy enough to sell?
