Default Bike parking in Salisbury?

I'm spending a stag night in Salisbury at a B&B with no parking, in the city centre. I'll take my Oxford Monster lock and chain and additional disc lock, but it would be nice to leave it somewhere securely.

I'm staying near the train station, which might be a good place to leave it.

Any other ideas? Am I getting paranoid over nothing?

There is bike parking right bang in the middle of Sailsbury just across the road from the Sailsbury branch of blacks ( the camping shop ) so that might be better, thats where I always used to park when Liz worked at Millets and I used to go and see her at Lunchtimes. I cant remember what the facilities are like at the railway station.

TBH in your position, if you are staying near the train station and you'll be drinking heavily why not take the train and then you dont have to worry about riding when hungover / possibly over the limit the next morning...

Salisbury is fairly safe, and the train station is as good as anywhere.
If you are the otherside of the dual carraigway you could leave it in the waitrose car park which will be well lit, you can get your bike under the canopy and chain it to a bench or cycle rack.
