Never used the service side but if its anything like there sales side id stay away! whent there when i was looking for a gixer they had a k3 in and when i asked about it the salesman wasnt realy botherd! he didnt seem too interested in the possible sale, then when i asked what the £75 registration fee was for he told me filling out the log book and sending it off, when i sugested that i could save the cash and fill it in meself i was asked to leave the showroom maybe he was just having a bad day but its realy put me off from ever going there again.

i know of someone who has a mate who used cmc c/field to service an R1. Upon collection he inspected the bike after being presented with the bill. It was noticed that some parts had not been replaced which he was being charged for, as there was a couple of thousand miles worth of road crud on them.

Their reaction was to say "o they must have got mucky on the road test."

Don't know the full details but all I know of CMC is that they are full on dirty robbin barstewerds.

When i went there lookin to upgrade my 125 to a 33bhp machine they laughed at me/my bike and never approached me to see what it was i was looking for.

scarred for life now, i would never give them my money!!!

We have been to CMC in Chesterfield on several occassions but only to have tyres changed. They have always been fine with us. They were doing dyno runs for £25 and had an open day a few Sundays ago and they only charged £19.

Bought my gloves and boots from CMC chesterfield, got some good discount with haggling aswell.

I then took the gloves back as they were a bit to tight and they swapped them no questions asked.
