Exclamation HUD visor would you?

I've seen a visor aid on the net which gives you a heads up display on your fuel speed revs and traffic camera warning etc.. There about 250GBP just looking for thoughts on them?

That was discontinued in 2007 dude...

Would I have one, only for extra pimp points. Can't see them offering anything that a sat nav/your speedo won't show.

Save £250 by casting your eyes down once in a while , spend the money on tyres and fuel

its a really clever idea, but as Badger said, for not having to look down for £250 id rather get a can or tyres etc...

Real difference is that you can still see traffic in front of you while reading speedo, so (theoretically) if Fred in front brakes sharply just as you glance down at speedo you could go into the back of him, wheras with shiny HUD you would react faster to the braking.

You shouldn`t need to know what speed you are doing if you are in the scenario where you are close to another car and need to brake . And before anybody bangs on about certain scenarios and theoretical or real situations , I would rather keep an eye on the car in front of me or near me and I have a rough idea of the speed I am doing to not justify £250 for something that is a quick glimpse . And another thing , Huds still need you to focus on them ....... thus diverting your attention away from something else .

You might not be glancing down to look at your speedo but your going to need to focus on the HUD on your visor which is very close to your face and then re-focus on the road.
I personnaly think it's really dangerous but that's just me.
